Tiger Translate: An East meets West Collaborative
Vision of Asia.
IdN will be documenting a new campaign known as Translate, Tiger Beer is
hosting a series of world-wide events to present consumers with a vibrant
vision of Asia through the eyes of cutting edge Asian-born creatives. For
each international Translate event, Tiger is inviting Asian artists to collaborate
with local artists to translate contemporary Asia into an art-piece.
Translate is fronted by a collective of artists and musicians who have risen
from underground scenes and are currently crafting a unique and highly successful
contemporary style on the world stage within art, photography, design and music.
The Tiger Dublin Tour featured Aidan Kelly from the local Dublin, Phunk Studio
from Singapore and Futon of Bangkok.

Living on the EDGE how was it for
you?
Thank you ALL so much for your participation in the DesignEDGE Conference & Expo
2005; without the collective effort, belief and support of each and every
individual who took part, DesignEDGE could never have achieved what it did
which was to mark a genuine breakthrough in the evolution of such events
in terms of an unparalleled new form of organisation, involving one of the
most stellar collections of creative iconoclasts ever put together.
As always with a new approach, there are those who love it and those who are
not quite so sure. Which is why wed love to have your feedback on the
event. Please take a few minutes to give us your thoughts via the questionnaire
on our website.
For all those who couldnt make it sorry, we hadnt reckoned
on there being so much going on in Singapore over that weekend that the hotels
were all chock-a-block a flavour of the proceedings can be found on
the website.
IdN and The DesignSingapore Council would like to thank you all for your tremendous
support and to express the wish that we will meet again in the not-to-distant
future at a show that we can assure you will be every bit as exciting,
especially after we have incorporated your input on our memorable Singapore
fling.
